<p>PURPOSE: A room operation system tailored for children for increasing concentration and a method thereof perform the optimum environment control for a children room according to life cycles, ages, and concentration by user. CONSTITUTION: A signal detection unit (100) measures temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, illuminance, and noise in a children room. The signal detection unit includes a temperature sensor unit (110), a humidity sensor unit (120), a carbon dioxide sensor unit (130), an illuminance sensor unit (140), and a noise sensor unit (150). A children room control MCU (200) receives a temperatures signal, a humidity signal, a carbon dioxide signal, an illuminance signal, and a noise signal from the signal detection unit. The children room control MCU receives setting signals of a study mode, a sleep mode, a mathematics learning mode, and a language learning mode from a key setting unit (240). A driving control unit (300) controls a heating and cooling unit (305), a humidifier unit (330), a ventilation unit (340), a children room brightness control unit (345), and a noise control unit (370).
