PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing a mulberry extract is provided to treat or prevent infectobesity, and to reduce side effects and physiological problems. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating infectobesity caused by adenovirus 36 contains a mulberry extract. The mulberry extract suppresses expression of monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 and TNF-alpha. The extract suppresses expression of E1A gene, Hexon gene, PPAR-alpha, and C/EBP-alpha. |
