PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize a temperature distribution in one pixel of a thermal print head.SOLUTION: A slit 74 is formed inside each of heat-generating resistances 26 arranged at intervals in a main scanning direction on a surface of an insulating board of a thermal print head and extending in a subscanning direction crossing the main scanning direction. The slit 74 has an open part that encircles a heat inflow portion 75. To each heat-generating resistance 26, an electrode 72 is connected, which applies a voltage to the heat-generating resistance 26. The heat inflow portion 75 does not allow a current to flow therethrough and therefore does not generate heat, but heat generated in its periphery of the heat inflow portion 75 flows therein through a connecting portion 76. |
