PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative composite material capable of efficiently applying excellent decoration on a CFRP composite material.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a decorative composite material includes arranging one or more layers of prepregs each of which is fabricated by impregnating a matrix resin in a carbon fiber, laminating a decorative sheet for a carbon fiber reinforced plastic having a coloring layer on the substrate on each prepreg so that the coloring layer side faces the prepreg side, and performing integral molding. The method for manufacturing a decorative composite material is also characterized in that a softening point of a binder resin of the coloring layer is higher than a molding temperature in integral molding.
