PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize an operation environment and an indoor environment suitable to preference of a user.SOLUTION: An operation setting system includes a portable terminal and an external device able to communicate with the portable terminal, and performs operation setting of the external device from the portable terminal. The portable terminal comprises: a terminal side storage unit for storing setting information regarding operation of the external device; a terminal side acquisition unit for acquiring identification information to identify the external device from the external device; and a terminal side transmission unit for reading out the setting information on the identified external device from the terminal side storage unit and for transmitting it to the identified external device. The external device comprises: an external device side transmission unit for transmitting the identification information to the portable terminal; an external device side acquisition unit for acquiring the setting information transmitted by the portable terminal; and an operation unit for performing operation based on the setting information. |
