PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable low-cost and easy generation of a super-multiple parallax image.SOLUTION: An image display device relating to the embodiment includes a light-emitting source, a light modulation part, a first deflection element array and a second deflection element array. The light-emitting source outputs light. The modulation part modulates light intensity and light color to generate a beam corresponding to a modulation pixel, with respect to each modulation pixel included in a modulation pixel group obtained by two-dimensionally aligning modulation pixels determined by an observation position for observing an image and by an output angle corresponding to the observation position. The first deflection element array includes multiple parallelly-arranged first deflection elements that deflect the beam per first modulation pixel group equivalent to m columns in the modulation pixel group to generate a first deflection beam, and respectively have a bus parallel to a vertical direction of the modulation pixels. The second deflection element array includes multiple parallelly-arranged second deflection elements that deflect the first deflection beam per second modulation pixel group equivalent to n rows in the first deflection pixel group to generate a second deflection beam, and respectively have a bus inclined to each bus of the first deflection elements at an angle represented by a value of tan(α×m/n). |
