PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate inconvenience of receiving a facsimile image of the same content for a multiplicity of number of times when a plurality of transmission destination telephone numbers are designated as facsimile transmission destinations.SOLUTION: An MFP 100 comprises: an input unit; a communication unit for transmitting an electronic mail to a designated server; a mail generator unit for generating an electronic mail destined to a facsimile server, having an added mail address destined to the facsimile server including one or more transmission destination telephone numbers; and a control unit. The MFP 100 controls the mail generator unit and the communication unit in the following manner. When a plurality of transmission destination telephone numbers are designated by the input unit, the control unit generates an electronic mail destined to the facsimile server, having the added mail address destined to the facsimile server including the plurality of transmission destination telephone numbers. The communication unit transmits the electronic mail destined to the facsimile server, generated by the mail generator unit, destined to a facsimile server 300, for the number of times smaller than the number of the plurality of transmission destination telephone numbers. |
