PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a reinforcing material for a center filler of a vehicle is provided to prevent the generation of cracks of the reinforcing material of the center filler of the vehicle, thereby preventing brittle fracture. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a reinforcing material for a center filler of a vehicle includes the following steps of: austenitizing a plate-shaped blank (10) by heating at a temperature of a transformation point or greater; forming the heated blank to be shaped into a shape of the reinforcing material and cooling; partially softening the cooled blank by partially heating; and trimming a softened portion to separate the reinforcing material from the blank by being cut.
