PURPOSE: An exhaust assembly in a valve regulated lead acid battery is provided to improve productivity when the valve of a valve regulated lead acid battery such as AGM (absorbent glass mat) is assembled without influence on the properties of the valve. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust assembly in a valve regulated lead acid battery has a protrusion (14) in the lower part of a valve body (12) being mounted to the cover (6) of a storage battery (2). A protrusion-fixing part (20) is formed in the cover to hang the protrusion of the valve body, thereby preventing the separation of the valve due to the increase of inner pressure during the use of the storage battery. A resin protrusion sealing (16) and one or more of a rubber o-ring and double injection rubber seal ring (18) are formed in the valve body in order to prevent the leakage of gas and electrolyte in a storage case through a gap between a valve insertion hole (8) and the valve body. |
