PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-absorbing resin particle whose liquid permeability is improved while absorption retention and water absorption speed are maintained, and to provide a production method thereof and an absorptive article using the same.SOLUTION: [1] A modified water-absorbing resin particle obtained by conducting polymerization of a nitrogen-containing water-soluble unsaturated monomer containing no acid group (B) in the presence of a crosslinked polymer-containing water-absorbing resin particle (A), 0.1 to 10 mass% of the nitrogen-containing water-soluble unsaturated monomer containing no acid group (B) with respect to the water-absorbing resin particle (A) in a dry state, and a water-soluble radical polymerization initiator (C), and [2] a method for producing the modified water-absorbing resin particle by conducting polymerization of the nitrogen-containing water-soluble unsaturated monomer containing no acid group (B) in the presence of the crosslinked polymer-containing water-absorbing resin particle (A), 0.1 to 10 mass% of the nitrogen-containing water-soluble unsaturated monomer containing no acid group (B) with respect to the water-absorbing resin particle (A) in a dry state, and the water-soluble radical polymerization initiator (C), and [3] an absorptive article including the modified water-absorbing resin particle described in [1] as a constituent member, are disclosed. |
