PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical resin composition having excellent optical characteristics.SOLUTION: An optical resin composition includes, in relation to material silica of which the volume-average mean particle size is 2 nm to 100 nm, a silica particle material of which the surface is treated with a silane coupling agent having a refractive index of 1.46 or more and 1.42 or less and organosilazane, the silica particle material of which 95% or more passes through when filtered through a No. 5C filter paper according to JIS P3801 standards after ultrasonic waves are radiated for five minutes to 100 mL of a dispersion liquid in which 10 mass%, with reference to the total mass, is dispersed in a carrier fluid of one type, or two types or more, selected from the group consisting of isopropanol, PMG, MEK, ethyl acetate, and toluene, and a resin material that disperses the silica particle material, in which the mass of the silica particle material is 60% or less with reference to the mass of the resin material. |
