PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working fluid composition for refrigerators, which can obtain excellent wear resistance even in severe lubricating conditions and can keep a sufficient low frictional coefficient, under the coexistence of a hydrocarbon refrigerant, and is excellent in electric power saving and reliability for long period, and to provide a refrigerator oil.SOLUTION: A working fluid composition for refrigerators comprises a refrigerator oil containing at least one lubricant base oil selected from mineral oils and synthetic oils and at least one phosphorus compound selected from a mono(alkylphenyl)diphenyl phosphate (having a 3-5C alkyl group) and di(alkylphenyl)phenyl phosphate (having two 3-5C alkyl groups), wherein the content of the phosphorus compound is 0.01-5 mass% on the basis of the total amount of the refrigerator oil, and a 2-4C hydrocarbon refrigerant. |
