PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate that exhibits superior gas barrier properties for a long period even in a severe environment.SOLUTION: There is provided a gas barrier laminate that has a vapor deposition layer 12, made of an inorganic material, and an overcoat layer 13 laminated in order on a resin base material 11, and the overcoat layer 13 is formed by coating the vapor deposition layer with a coating liquid containing at least one kind (A) selected from the group of an organosilicon compound represented by general formula (a) and its hydrolysate and heating and drying the coating liquid.
