PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark-ignition engine in which an ignition coil case can be fixed even to a small-sized engine.SOLUTION: An intake manifold 9 is mounted on lateral one side of a cylinder head 1, a plug cap accommodation space 1a is provided between the intake manifold 9 and a cylinder head cover 3, and the intake manifold 9 is constituted of a body part 9a and a ceiling wall part 9b. The ceiling wall part 9b can be mounted on the body part 9a, in the ceiling wall part 9b, a coil case mounting stay 10 is formed by integration molding and at the upper side of the plug cap accommodation space 1a, and the substrate 11 of the coil case mounting stay 10 is disposed. The substrate 11 is provided with a tubular portion penetration part 12 and in the upper part of the substrate 11, a coil case mounting part is disposed. A flexible tubular portion 8 is made to penetrate the tubular portion penetration part 12, an ignition coil case 7 is mounted on the coil case mounting part, and the ignition coil case 7 is fixed to the coil case mounting stay 10. |
