PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing kitchen paper excellent in liquid absorbing properties.SOLUTION: In a method for producing kitchen paper, a water-soluble adhesive containing an organic acid is applied to a projection of an embossed surface of one piece of creped paper; a water-soluble adhesive containing sodium hydrogencarbonate is applied to a part of the other piece of creped paper, the part being in contact with the top of the projection of the embossed surface of one piece of creped paper; and the organic acid-containing water-soluble adhesive of one piece of creped paper and the sodium hydrogencarbonate-containing water-soluble adhesive of the other piece of creped paper are brought into contact with each other so that the organic acid and the sodium hydrogencarbonate can react with each other to foam a bonded part. |
