PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake system of a variable cylinder engine capable of surely purifying blow-by gas by causing the blow-by gas led into an air cleaner to flow only to an operating cylinder group without causing it to flow to a resting cylinder group.SOLUTION: A variable cylinder engine includes: a variable cylinder engine 50 having an operating cylinder group C1 and a resting cylinder group C2; throttle bodies 61 and 62 respectively connected to the operating cylinder group C1 and the resting cylinder group C2 and having intake passages 81a; and an air cleaner 70 provided on an upstream side of the throttle bodies 61 and 62 and having a single chamber 72. The air cleaner 70: is equipped with a partitioning wall 74 for partitioning the chamber 72 into a space S1 on the side of the operating cylinder group C1 and a space S2 on a side of the resting cylinder group C2; and includes a blow-by gas return pipe 75 for connecting an internal space of the variable cylinder engine 50 to the space S1 on the side of the operating cylinder group C1. |
