PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve functionality and convenience of face authentication in an intercom system where the face authentication is performed by comparing video data of a visitor and face data.SOLUTION: Before depressing a call button, a visitor is imaged by a camera and face authentication is performed. When the face authentication of a face data registered visitor is made successful, a room master unit generates ring-back tones 1 and an entrance slave unit generates confirmation tones 1 (0). When the face authentication is failed because of no registration of face data and the call button is depressed, the room master unit generates an alarm A and the entrance slave unit generates an alarm B (1). When the face authentication is failed since the face cannot be identified and when the call button is depressed, the room master unit generates silence or an alarm C and the entrance slave unit generates an attention event (2). When the face authentication is failed and the visitor does not depress the call button for a fixed time, the room master unit generates silence or an alarm D and the entrance slave unit generates a caution event (3). When the face authentication is made successful and a member of the family or the like does not depress the call button for a fixed time intensively, the room master unit generates ring-back tones 2 and the entrance slave unit generates confirmation tones 2 (4). |
