PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a checking device capable of easily checking personal belongings.SOLUTION: A first receiving section 42 receives a signal of first wireless communication code capable of one-way communication from a key 16. When the first receiving section 42 receives the signal, a first communication section 50 transmits an inquiry signal by using a second wireless communication code, which is different from the first wireless communication code and is capable of two-way communication to a checking device 12. The first communication section 50 receives a response signal from the checking device 12. Each of a first notification section 56 and a second notification section 58 issues a notification according to the response signal received by the first communication section 50.
