PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the amount of moisture in paper (humidity in a sheet feeder) at a constant amount or below while reducing a manufacturing cost and improving power-saving performance without using a control circuit such as a CPU and a sensor.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder includes a paper loading section, a paper feeding mechanism that feeds paper one by one, a drying section that performs drying by receiving power supply, a humidity change section in which members of different degrees of contraction and expansion due to humidity are combined and whose shape changes according to humidity, a first contact point provided in the humidity change section, and a switch section that includes a second contact point provided to contact the first contact point if humidity exceeds preset humidity, doesn't connect the drying section and a power supply if the first contact point is not in contact with the second contact point, and connects the drying section and the power supply to perform drying if the first contact point is in contact with the second contact point. |
