PURPOSE: A vehicle partial networking apparatus and the method thereof are capable of largely reducing standby power and CO2 emission. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle partial networking apparatus (300) comprises a frame receiver (310), a search unit (320), a frame generator (330) and a networking unit (340). The frame receiver receives a controller area network (CAN) frame for partial networking from the outside. The search unit searches a CAN ID by extracting a service ID from the CAN frame and inquiring a partial network table with the extracted service ID. The frame generator generates the CAN frame for partial networking by using the CAN ID. The networking performs a partial networking by transmitting the generated CAN frame for partial networking to at least one electronic control device which corresponds to a vehicle service.
