PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control adhesion and deposition of polymers produced in a distillation or collection process for (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylic esters onto the inside of equipment and piping and thereby prevent choking of equipment and piping by adhered matter.SOLUTION: A silicone type release agent is incorporated into a distillation tower or a collection tower for (meth)acrylic acid or (meth)acrylic esters. The releasing effect of the silicone type release agent allows polymers to be discharged out of the system in the form of relatively small granules without adhesion to equipment and piping.
