PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner detecting a difference in pressure of the inside/outside of a dust chamber to prevent a shaft system of an electric blower from running idle.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 1 includes a pressure-receiving body 52 displaced due to a pressure difference between a negative-pressure chamber 46 and a positive-pressure chamber, a first terminal 33 where a state of contact with or separation from the pressure-receiving body 52 is switched depending on whether or not the pressure-receiving body 52 is within a first prescribed displacement amount, a second terminal 37 where the state of contact with or separation from the pressure-receiving body 52 is switched depending on whether or not the pressure-receiving body 52 is within a second prescribed displacement amount, a third terminal 41 keeping contact with the pressure-receiving body 52 within a maximum displacement of the pressure-receiving body 52, a first cable run 32 conducted when the first terminal 33 and third terminal 41 come into contact with the pressure-receiving body 52 and blocked when the first terminal 33 separates from the pressure-receiving body 52, a second cable run 36 conducted when the second terminal 37 and third terminal 41 come into contact with the pressure-receiving body 52 and blocked when the second terminal 37 separates from the pressure-receiving body 52, and a body control part 9 changing a power output from an electric blower 8 in conjunction with conduction or blocking of each of the first cable run 32 and second cable run 36. |
