PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ammonia removing method by which ammonia can be efficiently and effectively removed from ammonia-containing wastewater such as industrial wastewater, without complicating device equipment and a treatment environment as before.SOLUTION: After adjusting pH of ammonia-containing wastewater 10 to be 10 or higher, it is sent to degassing membrane devices 13 and 14 incorporating hydrophobic hollow fibers, and is brought into counterflow contact with a decompressed gas as a fluid. Also, preferably, the temperature of the ammonia-containing wastewater is 50°C or higher. |
