PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of data quality effectively when a packet is altered or omitted during transmission, and to prevent delay of the streaming data.SOLUTION: The arrangement buffer of a processing means stores a received packet in a storage having a continuous address which corresponds to the packet number of that packet and is allocated dynamically. A packet omission detection means detects packet omission based on a packet stored in the arrangement buffer. Upon detection of packet omission, a retransmission request transmission means transmits a retransmission request of packet to a transmission side device. When the packets are stored in the arrangement buffer, an arrangement buffer operation means operates the arrangement buffer based on the state thereof. |
