PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for suspension that can improve electric connection with an actuator element by improving joining reliability between a conductive adhesive and a connection structure region of the substrate for suspension.SOLUTION: A substrate 1 for suspension includes an insulation layer 10, a metal support layer 11 provided on the surface of the insulation layer 10 on the side of the actuator element 44, a wiring layer 12 provided on the surface of the insulating layer 10 on the opposite side from the actuator element 44, and including a plurality of wirings 13b and a wiring connection portion 16 provided in a connection structure region 3, connected to a corresponding wiring 13b, and electrically connected to the actuator element 44 through a conductive adhesive. A gold plating layer 84 joined to the conductive adhesive is provided to the surface of a metal support layer 11 on the side of the actuator element 44. At an outer peripheral edge 84a of the gold plating layer 84, an outer peripheral edge rugged portion 85 is provided which is rugged in plain view. |
