PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency processing system capable of increasing security without a large burden of development man-hour.SOLUTION: When an operation input is performed, an operation terminal unit 13 issues communication data on the operation input to a currency processing unit 12 through communication means 14, 215, 219. The currency processing unit 12 comprises: storage means 211 for previously storing authentication information corresponding to at least a part of data in the communication data; input means 212 in which the authentication information is input; and control means 210 for comparing the authentication information stored in the storage means 211 in accordance with at least a part of data in the communication data with the authentication information that is input in the input means 212 at a time of identification of the communication data and, only when it is confirmed that one of the authentication information is consistent with the other one, controlling handling processing on the basis of the communication data. |
