PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of artifacts due to irradiation of measurement light, in optoacoustic measurement using a probe.SOLUTION: In a probe 11 for acoustic wave detection provided with a light guide part for guiding measurement light L and an electroacoustic conversion part 20 including an acoustic wave vibrator 51 and an acoustic lens 52 provided on the side of a subject M of the acoustic wave vibrator 51 and having an acoustic wave converging function, the probe includes a light diffusion acoustic part 43 provided on the side of the subject M of the electroacoustic conversion part 20 and having acoustic wave transmissivity, which is the light diffusion acoustic part 43 whose layer is at least partially constituted of a light diffusion acoustic member 54 having a light diffusing property. An emission end face S2 of the measurement light L at the light guide part is arranged near the light diffusion acoustic part 43 so that the optical path of the measurement light L from the emission end face S2 to incidence on the subject M is not obstructed by the light diffusion acoustic part 43. |
