PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary electrode that can successfully plate the interior surface of a tubular object with little consumption of plating liquid and can be easily inserted into a flexural tubular object.SOLUTION: In an auxiliary electrode 10 used by being inserted into a tubular object, the auxiliary electrode 10 includes: an auxiliary anode 11; and auxiliary electrode spacers 12. The auxiliary electrode spacers 12 are formed of long spacer protruding portions 14 and long spacer connecting parts 13. The spacer protruding portions 14 are formed so that the sectional shapes orthogonal in the longitudinal direction become approximately the same in the longitudinal direction. In the auxiliary electrode 10, the multiple auxiliary electrode spacers 12 are wound around the periphery of the auxiliary anode 11 so that the spacer connecting parts 13 lie over one another, while the auxiliary anode 11 does not contact with the inside surface of the tubular object, and the spacer protruding portions 14 are wound under the density of causing no overlapping one another. |
