PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle provided with a side support protruding from a seat surface to a side part of the seat surface, the seat being capable of maintaining a primary function of a side support while preventing the side support from interrupting the getting-on/getting-off motion of an occupant by being deflected when the side support is pressed from the above of the side support and by not being deflected laterally even when the side support is pressed from an inner side to an outer side on the seat surface of the seat.SOLUTION: A side support is configured to be capable of elastically deforming so as to make a protruding height low by a pressure force (an arrow 2) from the above of a seat surface, and the side support includes a holding element 41 for holding a shape of the side support in a normal state. The holding element 41 is configured to be moved to make the protruding height low by the pressure force (the arrow 2) from the above of the seat surface of the side support and not to be moved by a pressure force (an arrow 1) from a side of an occupant seated on the seat surface of the side support. |
