In the case where the occurrence of slide/slip is not detected, a slide/slip correction section 210 outputs a succession system velocity Vas a detection velocity V. In the case where the occurrence of slide/slip is detected, on the other hand, a correction velocity Vwhich is obtained by correcting the succession system velocity Vis outputted as the detection velocity V while using the succession system velocity Vbefore and after a period in which slide/slip occurs, and an inertia system velocity Vcalculated based on the measurement of the angular velocity sensor 112.
