PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress effect of heat of a gas jetted from an inflator on a peripheral part of an opening of an airbag.SOLUTION: A back holder 40 of an airbag device is supported on a steering wheel, and an airbag 60 is disposed further to the rear side than the back holder 40. An inflator 80 is elastically supported on the back holder 40 by an elastic support part of the support plate 90, and supplies a gas G to the airbag 60 for inflating the airbag. A cup retainer 70 includes an annular bag mounting part 71 for holding a peripheral part 62 of an opening 61 of the airbag 60 between itself and the back holder 40, and is fastened to the back holder 40 by bolts 78 at the bag mounting part 71. The cup retainer 70 includes an arch part which extends rearward from an inner edge of the bag mounting part 71 and covers the inflator 80 from the outside in the radial direction of a steering shaft and a bag covering part 74 which extends from the inner edge radially inward and covers the peripheral edge part 62. |
