PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recover glass material constituting glass substrates from a thin film solar cell device in which a metal electrode layer and a semiconductor element are film-deposited on the glass substrates at low cost, and to reduce the content of impurities contained in the recovered glass material.SOLUTION: A method for recovering glass materials from a solar cell device in which a metal electrode layer and a semiconductor element are successively film-deposited on a glass substrate, includes a step (S1) of separating the semiconductor element from the solar cell device, a step (S2) of pulverizing the glass substrate with the metal electrode layer being film-deposited thereon into glass particles, a step (S3) of stirring glass particles in the liquid, allowing the first glass particles of high deposition ratio of the metal electrode layer and/or metal electrode layer foils peeled from the glass substrate to be afloat on an upper layer, settling the second glass particles of relatively low deposition ratio of the metal electrode layer on a lower layer, and sorting the glass particles thereby, and a step (S4) of extracting the second glass particles as recyclable glass material. |
