PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation of a currency processing device by renewing a control method of the currency processing device (a bill deposit/withdrawal device 1) including a plurality of storage sections (storage cassettes 31).SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of storage sections includes an information unit 3001 including unique information. As for the unique information, a priority order of the plurality of storage sections when storing the currency, and a priority order of the plurality of storage sections when withdrawing the currency are set respectively. A control unit 315 acquires the unique information from the information unit of each storage section disposed in a housing 131, and determines the priority order of the storage sections for storing the currency in a deposit process and the priority order of the storage sections for storing the currency in a withdrawal process on the basis of the unique information acquired from each of the plurality of storage sections. |
