PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of preventing the image display device from stopping drawing an image.SOLUTION: A demodulation unit demodulates a serially transmitted image signal, and a display unit uses the demodulated image signal to display an image. A compensation clock signal output unit outputs a compensation clock signal that compensates a dot clock signal for causing the display unit to synchronize an image signal when abnormality occurs to the image signal.
