PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power consumed by operation of a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes a water-level detector for detecting the fact that the water-level goes below a predetermined level, a drainage path for draining water in a water reservoir to the outside, and a switch for opening and closing the drainage path. Water level in the reservoir is held constant by natural waterfall from the drainage path provided in the sidewall of the reservoir. The switch provided in the drainage path is operated only when the water level in the reservoir lowers due to the influence of wind, or the like. Since the amount of water in the reservoir, required for operation of the fuel cell system, is held, the power required for water-level control of the reservoir can be eliminated. |
