The first component (40) includes a first joining surface (42) which is adjacent to a second joining surface (52) of the second component (50). The first joining surface (42) and the second joining surface (52) are joined along a joining plane (34) by laser cladding. A joining material (32) from a laser cladding device (30) provides one or more joining layer(s) (36) between the first joining surface (42) and the second joining surface (52). The first and second joining surfaces (42, 52) include bevel angles (82, 84).
