PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a route search while setting a location where a possibility for a road to be present is high, to a search range when searching a route from a place of departure to a destination.SOLUTION: A computer performs a route search from a place of departure to a destination and a route search from the destination to the place of departure while changing an object from a road class of any other level than a highest level to a higher level on the basis of first grouping of a plurality of road classes in first processing. Continuously, a route search is performed with a road class of the highest level as an object. Next, the computer performs the route search from the place of departure to the destination and the route search from the destination to the place of departure while changing the object from the road class of any other level than the highest level to a higher level within a search range based on a result of the first processing on the basis of second grouping in which much more road classes are classified to the highest level, in second processing. Continuously, a route search is performed with the road class of the highest level within the search range as an object. Then, route information based on a result of the second processing is generated. |
