PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing terminal for providing a display mode suited to a viewer of the information providing terminal.SOLUTION: The information providing terminal includes: a display device; a face detection part for detecting a person's face from image data picked up by an imaging part; an image capturing part for capturing image data concerned with the person's face detected by the face detection part; an age determination part for determining the age of the person detected by the face detection part on the basis of the image data concerned with the person's face captured by the image capturing part; a storage part for storing the age and a display mode concerned with character notation to be displayed on the display device in relation with each other; and a display control part for retrieving the age determined by the age determination part and stored in the storage part and displaying information on the display device by the display mode concerned with the character notation and stored in the storage part in relation with the retrieved age. |
