PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spark-ignition engine in which an ignition coil case can be fixed even in a small-sized engine.SOLUTION: An intake manifold 9 is mounted at lateral one side of a cylinder head 1, a plug cap accommodation space 1a is provided between the intake manifold 9 and a cylinder head cover 3, and a coil case mounting stay 10 is mounted to the cylinder head 1. The coil case mounting stay 10 includes front and rear legs 10a, 10b led out downwards from front and rear edges of a substrate 11, the front and rear legs 10a, 10b are fixed to front and rear machine walls of the cylinder head 1, and the substrate 11 of the coil case mounting stay 10 is disposed at an upper side of the plug cap accommodation space 1a. A tubular portion penetration part is provided in the substrate 11, a coil case mounting part is provided in an upper part of the substrate 11, and a flexible tubular portion 8 penetrates the tubular portion penetration part. An ignition coil case 7 is mounted to the coil case mounting part, and an ignition coil case 7 is fixed to the coil case mounting stay 10. |
