PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic field homogeneity adjustment method capable of reducing the number of magnetic materials to be added/removed in magnetic field homogeneity adjustment and reducing the times of magnetic field homogeneity adjustment.SOLUTION: A computer is allowed to perform steps: calculating a first volume distribution of magnetic materials on shim trays, on the basis of a first magnetic field strength distribution of a magnetic space (S3); acquiring a first accumulation distribution indicating positions for each area of shim trays and a volume with the added volumes of the magnetic materials in the first volume distribution (S5); calculating a virtual magnetic strength distribution to be generated in the magnetic space by magnetic materials assumed to be arranged like a first accumulation distribution (S8); calculating a second magnetic strength distribution obtained by adding the first magnetic strength distribution to the virtual magnetic strength distribution (S9); calculating a second volume distribution of magnetic materials on the shim trays, on the basis of the second magnetic strength distribution (S3); acquiring a second accumulation distribution indicating positions for each area and a volume with the added volumes of the magnetic materials in the second volume distribution (S5); and displaying the positions and volumes in the areas of the first accumulation distribution and the second accumulation distribution (S10). |
