PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfunction or life shortening of equipment like a valve body etc. caused by powder.SOLUTION: A powder storage and discharge device includes a powder storing hopper 11 for storing powder, and a powder discharging conveyor 12 arranged on a lower discharging port 11A of the powder storing hopper 11 to discharge the powder. The powder discharging conveyor 12 has a cylindrical casing 12A laterally extending while communicating with the powder storing hopper 11, so that the powder fallen from the inside of the powder storing hopper 11 can be deposited and stored on the side of the lower discharging port 11A in the cylindrical casing 12A. A space S is formed on the side of a powder discharging port 12C where the powder is not stored. An equalizing pipe 13 allowing the space S to communicate with the inside of the powder storing hopper 11 is connected on the side of the powder discharging port 12C of the cylindrical casing 12A at the position separated from the powder discharging port 12C in a longitudinal direction of the cylindrical casing 12A. An exhaust pipe 14 and an inlet pipe 15 are connected between the space S and the inside of the powder storing hopper 11 mutually communicating by the intermediary of the equalizing pipe 13. |
