PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston for an engine capable of improving combustion efficiency by satisfactorily stirring an air-fuel mixture.SOLUTION: A groove part 28 is provided on the top face of a head part 24 of a piston 10, and first and second squish parts 29 and 30 continued from the end face of the groove part are provided to the peripheral part of the groove part 28. The opening shape of the groove part 28 is made into a race track shape comprised of two half circle parts 28a and two linear parts 28b connecting these half circle parts 28a. |
