PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fuel from entering a clearance between an outer edge of a coating layer and an opening without cutting the coating layer.SOLUTION: A fuel tank 10 includes a tank body 11 having an opening 14 formed to attach other members, and a coating layer 30 made of synthetic resin formed on the inner surface of the tank body 11. The fuel tank 10 includes a ring-like seal member 20 that is molded in a different process from that of the coating layer 30, is liquid-tightly engaged with the other member, and is liquid-tightly attached to the opening 14. The outer edge 30E of the coating layer 30 is welded to the seal member 20 attached to the opening 14.
