PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble yellow pigment (compound) which is high in solubility to water, and excellent in a variety of toughness such as water resistance, moisture resistance, ozone gas resistance, abrasion resistance and light resistance, a yellow ink composition for a variety of recording, particularly for inkjet recording, which contains the pigment, and a colored boy colored by the composition.SOLUTION: A water-soluble tris azo composition, a tautomer thereof or a salt thereof is obtained by reacting three molecules of an azo compound represented by formula (16), which is prepared from anthranilic hydrazide and methyl acetoacetate through four steps, with cyanuric chloride. |
