PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency domain equalization device which, when receiving a single carrier signal, can effectively determine and then remove a highly frequency dependent disturbing signal such as an analog TV signal effectively, and a receiving device.SOLUTION: The frequency domain equalization device in an embodiment is a frequency domain equalization device which receives a digitally modulated single carrier signal and performs multipath equalization, etc. on it in a frequency domain. The frequency domain equalization device comprises a transmission line response estimation unit, an equalization unit, an integration unit, a determination unit, a correction unit, and a time domain conversion unit. The integration unit integrates output of the equalization unit for each frequency unit spanning a predetermined number of frames. The determination unit determines whether the magnitude of output of the integration unit has exceeded a threshold. The correction unit corrects output of the equalization unit on the basis of the determination result of the determination unit. |
