PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize preloads of a damper spring, and facilitate engagement amount adjustment of bevel gears, in a power unit equipped with a cam damper mechanism and one set of bevel gears on an extension shaft of an output shaft of a power unit.SOLUTION: In a power unit, a cam member 85 of a cam damper mechanism 8 is provided mutually non-rotatably with one of bevel gears 41 and rotatably on an extension shaft 6, a lifter member 81 is provided on the extension shaft slidably in an axial direction and non-rotatably, a damper spring 83 is supported by a first collar 82 of the extension shaft at one end side 83a, and abuts against the lifter member at the other end portion 83b to axially urge the lifter member toward the cam member, and a biasing force is supported by at least one of the bevel gears. The extension shaft includes one of the bevel gears and the cam damper mechanism between the first collar and a first bearing 75, and is stored in a bevel gear case 40 while it is fixed to a bevel gear holder together with the first bearing. |
