PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knee bolster capable of reducing damage to a harness etc., while reducing the load of a collision on leg parts of a passenger.SOLUTION: A knee bolster 3 includes a bracket part 1 which is provided to an instrument panel reinforce 5 to project toward knee parts of a passenger and can buckle in a vehicle having functional components arranged in an instrument panel. Further, the bracket part 1 has a shape of projecting the side of the functional components more than the instrument panel reinforce 5. Furthermore, the knee bolster 3 has a buckling acceleration part 1b formed on its reverse surface, the buckling acceleration part 1b accelerating bucking into a convex shape to below the bracket part 1 on receiving a load from the functional components and the knees of the passenger in case of a collision. |
