PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared ray shielding film that reflects infrared rays (heat rays) in a broad range (from 800 nm to 2000 nm) and has little absorption (absorption of heat rays).SOLUTION: An infrared ray shielding film has metal particle-containing layers containing at least one kind of metal particles. The metal particles include metal planar particles by 60 number% or more. At least one layer of the metal particle-containing layers shows at least two absorption peaks or at least two reflection peaks in a region from 800 to 2000 nm.
