PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating coating body including an insulating coating layer which can be manufactured using thermoplastic resin, and has a high starting voltage of partial discharge, heat resistance, flame retardancy, environment resistance, scratch resistance and chemical resistance, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: There is provided an insulating coating body that is manufactured by coating an object to be coated with an insulating coating layer obtained using an aromatic polysulfone composition containing aromatic polysulfone (A) and fluororesin (B). In the aromatic polysulfone composition, the total content of phenolic hydroxyl groups existing at terminals of chain structure of the aromatic polysulfone (A) and the salts of phenolic hydroxyl groups is 3.0×10to 10.0×10mol based on 1 g of the fluororesin (B). |
