PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable terminal equipment for performing an operation with a pseudo tactile sense.SOLUTION: Portable terminal equipment 100 includes: a touch panel 113 including a display panel 113b for displaying an image for accepting a contact operation by a user on the display panel part 113b, and for outputting a contact position; a vibrator 114; an edge detection part 111 for detecting an edge in the image; and a main control part 108 for determining whether or not the contact position matches the position of the detected edge, and for, when those positions are coincident, controlling the vibrator 114 to vibrate, and for, when those positions are not coincident, controlling the vibrator 114 to stop vibrating. |
